Sterile ophthalmic ointment
Bacteriostatic and/or bactericide
Dse-dependent for Gram positive and Gram negative, both aerobics and anaerobics
Formula: Chlortetracycline hydrochloride 1 g – Excipients csp 100 g
Indications: Ocular bacterial infections superficial and ulcerative keratitis. Of first choice, in mucopurulent conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia. Effective in case of Mycoplasma and Rickettsia.
Dosaje: Unless veterinarian advice, a little bit of ointment of a grain of rice size should be applied in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. At the treatment start, every 2-3 hours. Once controlled the infection, the application frequency is reduced. Treatment duration is according to veterinarian advise, but it is recommended not to extend it more than 15 days.
Presentation: 5 g tube – Pack of 24 units.
